Make a difference in your community by caring for and beautifying the Swasey Park pavilion, parks, bike paths, dog parks and other local gathering places.
Save our planet by educating the community and encouraging partnerships that are committed to the preservation, beautification and enjoyment of our natural resources. Local garden projects, hikes and trail maintenance are a few of the projects.
Increase everyone’s knowledge by organizing our scholarship program, donating books for schools & libraries, educating young women in math and science (S.T.E.M.) careers, partaking in our book club and tutoring students.
All non-profit organizations need money to fulfill their missions. EAGFWC works on many fundraisers, such as our annual Yuletide Fair, to support our overall community.
Improve others lives by participating in the breast cancer walk, Special Olympics Penguin Plunge as well as contributing to Thanksgiving baskets, senior holiday gifts, adopted family projects, food pantry drives and health awareness programs.
Retain and recruit new members while sharing friendship at meetings, mentoring, new member nights and leadership development initiatives.
Increase awareness of ongoing issues while supporting our troops and their families, hosting candidates nights, promoting the Amber Alert, safety, USO and VA hospital programs.
Let our voices be heard through legislation, representative communications, school board and town meetings.
Toot our EAGFWC horn by creating and distributing press releases, as well as promotional posters and brochures. Keep our website and Facebook page current.
Let’s have some fun! Join the group for movie nights, kitchen tours, pot luck dinners, shopping, wine tasting, games, holiday parties, luncheons, children’s events, comedy nights and plays.

EAGFWC believes in preserving women’s heritage by archiving important papers and club history through local historical preservation groups and GFWC headquarters.
